N. macfarlanei-Genting Highlands
N. macfarlanei is endemic to Malaysia and it produces attractive red-speckled pitchers. Lower pitchers are ovoid to cylindrical. The lower surface of the lid is densely covered with short, white hairs.
This plant prefers highland conditions. It should be kept around 70-83°F during the day and 55-60°F at night with a very high humidity.
Nepenthes prefer high humidity, at least 75% RH for most species. They should be watered with distilled water, rainwater or reverse osmosis. Bright, indirect light.
