N. bongso, seed grown species


Nepenthes bongso is a tropical pitcher plant endemic to Sumatra, where it grows 1000–2700 m above sea level. It produces large purple pitchers with an almost black peristome. It really enjoys days 75-85F and cool nights around 60 and lower for best results. This is a seed grown plant imported from Christian Klein in Germany. Greenhouse hardened.

This plant prefers highland conditions.  It should be kept around 70-80°F during the day and 50-60°F at night with a very high  humidity around 75% and higher. RO water or distilled for best results. Bright, indirect light.
