N. bokorensis ‘EP’ Bred from original collection
Endemic to Mount Bokor in Cambodia. Nepenthes bokorensis is a close relative of thorelii and it was only formerly described in 2009. This grex was bred in house by Exotica using two of their original seed grown specimens. We find this species to be very vigorous and tolerant of cooler temperatures. The main image really shows the unique uppers on this species.
The main image shows a mature specimen at Exotica Plants. The Secondary image shows a sample of what you will receive. 3-4+ inches in diameter. Shipped with roots wrapped in sphagnum.
This plant prefers intermediate/lowland conditions. It should be kept between 75-85F in the day and doesn’t require a night time temperature drop. Nepenthes can acclimate to lower humidity levels, although the best results will be seen in 70-80% range. Bright, indirect light and pure water.
This is a pre-order item due in mid to late April.
