N. biak-Greenhouse Bred
This species is endemic to the island of Biak in Indonesia. It’s closely related to Nepenthes insignis, which grows only on the main land of New Guinea. Greenhouse bred by Exotica Plants.
The main image shows a mature specimen at Exotica Plants. 3-4+ inches in diameter. Shipped with roots wrapped in sphagnum.
This plant prefers lowland conditions. It should be kept between 75 85F in the day and does’nt require a nighttime temperature drop. Although Nepenthes can acclimate to lower humidity levels, best results will be seen in 70-80% range. Bright, indirect light and pure water.
