    N. bongso, seed grown species

    Nepenthes bongso is a tropical pitcher plant endemic to Sumatra, where it grows 1000–2700 m above sea level. It produces large purple pitchers with an almost black peristome. It really enjoys days 75-85F and cool nights around 60 and lower for best results. This is a seed grown plant imported from Christian Klein in Germany. Greenhouse hardened. This plant prefers highland conditions.  It should be kept around 70-80°F during the day and 50-60°F at night with a very high  humidity around 75% and higher. RO water or distilled for best results.     N. macfarlanei-Genting Highlands

    N. macfarlanei is endemic to Malaysia and it produces attractive red-speckled pitchers. Lower pitchers are ovoid to cylindrical. The lower surface of the lid is densely covered with short, white hairs. This plant prefers highland conditions.  It should be kept around 70-83°F during the day and 55-60°F at night with a very high humidity. Nepenthes prefer high humidity, at least 75% RH for most species. They should be watered with distilled water, rainwater or reverse osmosis.     N. pervillei seed grown

    Nepenthes pervillei is endemic to the Seychelles, where it can be found on the islands of Mahé and Silhouette. It grows in rocky soils near mountain summits. It prefers to be kept more on the dry side and have ample air circulation. It was once thought to be it's own genus due to certain morphological features such as its seeds lacking wings.
